Delaware Nature Society Summer Camp

Delaware Nature Society camps connect children with nature through hands-on, outdoor experiences with highly qualified instructors. Children, ages 3-15, are empowered to try new activities, develop creativity and have fun through one-of-a-kind experiences, including hiking, kayaking, cooking, harvesting, archery, farm animal care, nature photography, fishing, overnights, travel, explorations and dip netting. Staff are certified in First Aid & CPR. Summer Camp Open House: Wed, 3/22, 5:30 pm – 7 pm at Ashland Nature Center, Hockessin, DE.

The School of First State Ballet Theatre Summer Programs

Registration is open for The School of First State Ballet Theatre’s summer programs for students ages 4 and up in our spacious studios in Wilmington’s beautiful and historic The Grand Opera House. Our Children’s Workshop offers dancers ages 4 to 9 a blend of ballet instruction and arts and crafts with a performance in our studios on the final day. Students may sign up for one week ($200) or two ($350). The Workshop runs from July 24 to August 4, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (drop off begins at 8:30). Our Summer Intensive program is designed for dancers age 9 and up with previous ballet training. Classes include ballet, pointe, character, jazz, conditioning and more, taught by distinguished guest teachers and FSBT faculty. The program will close with a performance in Studio 1 in the Baby Grand on July 21.

No Day But Today Broadway Camp!

Campers enjoy weekly themes, field trips, swimming and visits from Mr. Softee! Daily supervised games and activities, arts and crafts, and more! Summer at St. Ann School
St. Ann School is excited to offer summer camp!  Our camp is designed for our younger campers, from 3 year olds through rising Kindergarteners. We ensure a safe, and nurturing environment where your child can learn and have fun!  Our camp is a teacher supervised summer program with weekly themes, arts and crafts, story time, free play and special activities. All campers must be potty trained. Camp schedule: June 19th – August 14th, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Before and after care are available.

New Castle County Sports Camps

Full-day All Sports camps and half-day camps in baseball, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, skateboarding, soccer, softball, speed/agility, tennis and volleyball. Full-day camps meet at Kirkwood Soccer Club, $125 per camper per week, $35 per week extended care. Half-day camps, $60 per camper per week, $115 per camper for tennis. Half-day camp locations vary.

Does your little one whirl and twirl around the house? Do you have an older child who wants to improve his or her dance technique or try something new this summer? Wilmington Ballet offers four weeks of instructional dance camp, including ballet, contemporary and musical theater dance for boys and girls ages 3 – 18. Each week features music and choreography from a different classical ballet. Princess Camp for ages 3 – 5 is 9 am – noon. Camp for ages 6 and up is 10 am – 3pm with before and after care available. Our camps help the Junior golfer get acquainted with golf etiquette, as well as the basic game fundamentals including but not limited to: the full swing, putting, chipping, and bunker play. Hagley’s Lost Arts and Skills Camp

Campers discover the tasks and activities that children did every day in the 1800’s. Before shopping malls and fast food, children learned to make their own clothes and toys, prepare snacks from fresh ingredients, work with wood, fish in rivers and creeks, and many other “lost arts.” Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Extended care is available before and after the camp day. Designed for children 7 to 10 years old. Camp dates are July 10 through July 14.

Christ Church Episcopal Preschool Outdoor Adventures

Christ Church Episcopal Preschool offers summer camp for 2 to 5 year olds in both half-day and full-day sessions. Eight weeks of camp begin on June 12. Explore and play on our 22-acre campus with 2 playgrounds, outdoor classroom, nature trail, labyrinth, woods and fields, as well as wonderful indoor facilities. Small groups enjoy water play, sports, music, and exploration of nature in all its forms.
