- Pack a Picnic for the Child's Garden of Verses Family Event - 10 a.m.-3 p.m. where Enchanted Woods will be transformed into a “Child’s Garden of Verses” to celebrate children’s literacy through the books of acclaimed author Jane Yolen. Several activity stations in the children’s garden will have a theme based on favorites like Owl Moon; Child of Faerie, Child of Earth; Shape Me a Rhyme, All in the Woodland Early, and Fine Feathered Friends. - Delaware Art Museum Presents the Family Festival on Sunday, September 23, noon – 3:30 p.m. The festival is free. Children will create art projects inspired by the art of the Pre-Raphaelites and participate in a fun and interactive children’s theater with Middle-earth Studios, an organization focused on enriching children’s imagination through costume storytelling.
